But Is It art?
Let's get social.

    Some things to know.

Visual expression has always been a natural part of my life. My mother, a portrait painter, taught me the basics very early on.I started in Graphic Design and got lots of branding experience but moved into advertising. I was increasingly drawn to the kind
of work I was seeing in the CA annuals. Not an easy move—it took me a year of sending self-promos and spec ads to a Creative Director and basically bugging the hell out of him until he gave me a break. I was officially a Mad Man.

Later I found myself in the world of database-marketing. Very different from advertising but it did give me insight into the strict disclipine using data as a cornerstone dictates. Plus it gave me a solid foundation for what was about to reshape the industry with a trend that was starting to be called “Social Media.”

Today my strength is that I can pull from 20+ years of experience in those different discliplines and apply them relevantly to a marketing landscape that not only evolves daily but demands that strong ideas, sharp visuals and hard metrics all be part of the equation.

When not working I like spending time with my family, a very cold Beefeater martini at the end of the day, the occasional cigar, creating wood sculptures and making props for my Disney-inspired home Halloween haunt that will blow your mind. No, really – cruise by the last three weeks in October and see what I mean.
